HPC005 infrared people counter is divided into two parts. One part is TX (transmitter) and Rx (receiver) installed on the wall. They are used to count the D data of human traffic. Part of the data receiver (DC) connected to the computer is used to receive the data uploaded by RX and then upload these data to the software in the computer.
The TX and Rx of Wireless IR people counter only need battery power supply. If the traffic is normal, the battery can be used for more than two years. After installing the batteries for TX and Rx, stick them on the flat wall with our complimentary sticker. The two devices need to be equal in height and face each other, and
installed at a height of about 1.2m to 1.4m. When someone passes by and the two rays of IR people counter are cut off successively, the screen of Rx will increase the number of people coming in and going out according to the direction of people flow.
Before installing the software, the computer needs to install the plug-in of HPC005 infrared wireless people counter to match the USB interface of the DC. After the plug-in is installed, install the software. It is recommended to install the software in the root directory of drive C.
After installing the software, you need to make simple settings so that the software can correctly receive data. There are two interfaces that the software needs to set:
- 1.Basic settings. Common settings in basic settings include 1. USB port selection (COM1 by default), 2. DC data reading time setting (180 seconds by default).
- 2.For device management, in the "device management" interface, RX needs to be added to the software (one Rx is added by default). Each pair of TX and Rx needs to be added here. At most 8 pairs of TX and Rx need to be added under a DC.
Our company provides various counters, including infrared people counters, 2D people counters, 3D people counters, WiFi people counters, AI people counters, vehicle counters, and passenger counters. At the same time, we can customize exclusive counters for you to adapt to the scenes you need to count.
